Kovex Service Agreement

Effective Date: October 2, 2024

By booking or using Kovex Mobile Detailing’s services, you (“Client” or “You”) agree to the following terms and conditions, which constitute a legal agreement between you and Kovex Mobile Detailing (“Contractor”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”).

Firm Cancellation Policy

  • - 48+ hours notice: No fee.

  • - 24-48 hours notice: $80 fee.

  • - Less than 24 hours notice: $150 fee.

  • - No call/No show: Full service amount charged up to $250.

  • - Client not present or vehicle unable to be detailed upon arrival: Full service amount charged up to $250.

Kovex reserves the right to cancel or reschedule based on staffing, traffic, weather, or equipment issues. Gift certificate appointments follow the same cancellation policy.

Late Arrival

Kovex reserves the right to arrive up to 120 minutes late due to tight schedules or traffic. We appreciate your patience in such cases and will communicate any delays as best as possible.

Vehicle Access, Operation & Service Quality

When booking our services, you agree to provide Kovex personnel with access and keys to your vehicle to perform auto-related services such as detailing. We aim to perform all services to a high standard, striving for a clean, damage-free exterior and spotless interior. Any concerns must be communicated within 24 hours of service completion. Kovex is not liable for concerns raised after 24 hours or if you do not participate in the final inspection.

Accidents, Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation Of Liability

Kovex will document pre-existing damage but is not liable for such conditions. If any damage occurs under our care, you will be notified immediately. Kovex provides no guarantees or warranties, and our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Fees, Service Terms & Payment

The fee for our services is the “Total Cost” indicated when you book. If the job exceeds the estimated time by more than 30 minutes, additional fees will be confirmed with you.

  • Payment: Payment is due upon completion of services via Credit Card, Debit, or Cash.

  • Late Payment:

    For payments not made upon completion, a 7-day grace period is granted to allow you to settle the outstanding balance without any additional fees. If payment is not made within this grace period, a 5% daily interest will be applied to the outstanding balance until the payment is made in full. This interest is cumulative and will continue to accrue until the full payment is received.

  • Failure to Pay:

    If payment, including any accrued interest, remains unpaid beyond a reasonable period following the grace period, Kovex reserves the right to initiate collection proceedings and to recover all costs associated with the collection process.

By booking a service with Kovex, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that the late payment policy is binding. Failure to comply may affect your eligibility for future services.

Access Requirements

You must provide access to water and electricity for mobile detailing services. Failure to do so results in a $150 cancellation fee.

Safety

You must disclose any hazardous substances in the vehicle prior to detailing. You are responsible for any health or safety issues arising from the vehicle’s condition.

Feedback, Termination & Governing Law

We welcome your feedback at [email protected]. By booking our services, you agree that Kovex may use pictures of your vehicle for marketing purposes unless you object in writing. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

By booking and using Kovex's services, you certify that you are authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of the vehicle’s legal owner and that you are 18+ years of age. You agree to indemnify and hold Kovex harmless from any claims or damages arising from your lack of authority to enter into this agreement.

Mandatory Gratuity Fee

If the Client is not present for the final quality control check and inspection at the end of the job, a mandatory gratuity fee of 10% of the total service cost will be added to the invoice. This fee is non-negotiable if you are unable to review the vehicle with the technician at the end of the job.

I Understand That

  • - Kovex does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from our work.

  • - Your payment to Kovex is expressly for the dedicated service time spent on your vehicle, not tied to the attainment of any specific outcome or result.

  • - Kovex limits its liability to the total dollar amount of each job.

  • - If the job takes 20% longer than anticipated, we reserve the right to charge an extra dirty fee totaling $50 per every additional half hour, with your prior consent.

  • - All Sales Are Final.

3. What's the difference between car detailing and car washing?

While both car detailing and car washing involve cleaning a vehicle, they differ significantly in terms of scope and level of attention to detail. Car washing usually focuses on removing dirt and grime from the exterior surfaces, often using automated systems. Car detailing, on the other hand, involves a thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior, along with processes like waxing, polishing, and restoring the vehicle's surfaces to a like-new condition.

4. How long does the detail usually take?

Each detail takes a different amount of time depending on the size and dirtiness of the vehicle. On average it takes 1-3 hours for an Exterior Detail job. It takes 2-4 hours for an Interior Detail job, and it takes 3-5 hours for a Full Detail job. Call us for a better idea of time.

5. How do I book a service?

We advise you call ahead of time to make sure we can serve you. Additionally you can book an appointment anytime by phone or online. 6. Can you detail my car at my home, office or apartment?

Yes we can! All we need is access to electricity and water. We carry 100 ft hoses and 200 ft extension cords for water and electricity so its easy for us to access power and water at your location.

7. How long will the detail last?

Kovex prides ourselves on how long we are able to keep your car clean even after we are done detailing. We generously apply various paint, window, and plastic sealants and protectants all over your car to keep it shinning and protected for longer. We like to give our customers a lot of value for their money and making the detail job last a long time is our priority.

8. What if I don't have access to water or electricity?

Unfortunately we will not be able to serve you for the moment, but in the future we will have an alternative that would work!
